Aftercare & Healing

Protect your investment

Beautiful results are a partnership. Follow these essentials while your brows heal, and let the pigment settle naturally. Everyone heals a little differently — reach out if you have any concerns.

Keep Them Dry

Keep brows dry for 7–10 days. Avoid water, steam, sweat and excessive humidity on the brow area.

No Picking

Do not rub, scratch or pick at your brows. Let any flaking happen and fall away naturally.

No Makeup

Avoid makeup and skincare directly on the brow area for about 10 days while the skin heals.

Avoid Sun & Heat

Avoid direct sun, tanning beds and saunas for 2 weeks after your appointment.

Gentle Cleansing

After 7–10 days, cleanse gently with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser — no scrubbing.

Aftercare Ointment

Apply the aftercare ointment as directed by Kate — a thin layer, only as instructed.

No Exfoliation

Avoid exfoliants, acids and retinols around the brows for about 4 weeks.

Trust the Process

Brows soften and change as they heal. Your 6–8 week touch-up is where the result is perfected.

A little preparation helps minimize sensitivity and supports the most even, refined result.

48 Hours Before

Protect the canvas

Avoid alcohol, and avoid aspirin, ibuprofen and other blood thinners unless they are medically prescribed for you.

2–4 Weeks Before

Pause treatments

No Botox or fillers in the brow area, and avoid chemical peels, laser treatments and retinoids near the brows.

1 Week Before

Let brows rest

No brow waxing, threading or tinting, and avoid tanning or sunburn before your appointment.

Day Of

Arrive refreshed

Come with clean skin and no brow makeup. Eat well, go easy on caffeine, and get a good night's rest.

Please note: Permanent makeup is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have a medical condition or take medication you are unsure about, please consult your physician before booking.

Clear, considerate policies protect the time reserved for every client, so each appointment can begin with care.

Deposit Policy

  • A deposit is required to confirm every appointment — the exact amount is shown when you book.
  • Your deposit is applied toward your service total.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • We understand that life happens — please give at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel.
  • To reschedule, call or text us at (909) 672-4396.
  • Appointments are by appointment only — we are unable to accept walk-ins.

Touch-Up Policy

  • A touch-up is not included in your initial service price — it is a separate appointment with its own fee.
  • Not everyone needs one: healing varies with your skin type and how well your skin retains pigment.
  • Recommended timing is 6–8 weeks after your first session, once your brows have fully healed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you book

A topical numbing cream is used for your comfort. Most clients describe only light scratching or tingling — about 1–2 out of 10.

Results typically last 1–3 years depending on the technique, your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare — with Ombré Shading lasting up to 2 years for many clients. A touch-up refreshes and extends your result.

No — a touch-up is optional, and depends on how your skin retains pigment. If refinement is desired, the recommended time is 6–8 weeks after your first session, and it is booked as its own appointment.

Treatment is not recommended while pregnant or breastfeeding, for anyone prone to keloid scarring, or while taking Accutane. Certain medications and medical conditions may require your physician's clearance first.
